The transition into puberty & womanhood can be pretty tricky, as you may remember. 🙂
Many girls are experiencing things like menstrual cramps, fatigue, and weight gain, not to mention the emotional ups & downs. It can be a really uncomfortable and painful time.
Which is why today’s video is so important, especially if you have a teenage daughter.
You’ll learn how to sneak more leafy greens into your children’s food, the types of exercise I recommend for young girls, why I strongly discourage belly button rings, and more. (I cover a LOT in just 7 minutes!)
If you don’t have time to watch, here’s a quick summary:
- It’s completely normal and healthy for teenage daughters to question their mother’s authority 🙂
- A nutrient-dense diet with lots of leafy greens is KEY for hormonal balance
- Make sure your daughter is getting plenty of healthy fats: avocado, coconut oil, salmon, etc.
- Also make sure she’s getting plenty of water and lots of movement (but not over-exercising)
- Please please please, no plastic water bottles! They can expose us to xenoestrogens and other chemicals
- Check out the apps Think Dirty and Skin Deep – they help us identify the chemicals in our foods and products
If you feel like your daughter needs extra support with her hormones, I’d be honored to help her along her health journey. You can call or text our office at (310) 319-1122 to schedule her initial appointment.
