These are such interesting, challenging times. How are you doing?

I’m finding that people are experiencing all kinds of things. Some are feeling incredibly anxious. Others are feeling more nourished than they have in years. Others are beginning to feel depressed. And for some people it changes day-to-day.

For those who are feeling emotionally challenged during this time, I wanted to reach out to give you some tools.

If you find yourself watching too much TV, eating lots of sugar, drinking more alcohol than you normally would, or just feeling down, I think you’ll find this video supportive:

Highlights from today’s video:

  • A great support for mild depression is movement. If you aren’t able to go on walks in your neighborhood, there are tons of workout & yoga classes online. Or just put on some music and dance!
  • If movement is hard for you, search “breathing exercises,” which can really help. Qi Gong and Tai Chi are also great forms of gentle movement.
  • Limit the sugar and alcohol – it will gunk up the liver and predispose us to depression.
  • If it’s one of your comforts, allow yourself to watch a bit of TV, but 8 hours a day will not be healthy for you.
  • Keep your diet light right now, because we aren’t using the energy that we normally do out in the world.
  • Try out Zoom dates, virtual dance parties or even virtual game nights! There are lots of creative ways we can socialize and interact right now.

If you’re a client of mine and you’re feeling anxious, depressed, or are having difficulty sleeping, reach out and schedule a Zoom session.

I’m here for you, and there are lots of herbs and nutrients that can help. I’m also available to work with new clients if you’re needing support right now.

Remember, we can also use this space to create.

Make a vision board and imagine what your life might be like on the other side of this, because there will be an end!

It can also be a great time to declutter, to clear space for the new. Above all, make sure that you feel nourished and taken care of.

Sending you all so much loving support,
Cari
