Life is stress-filled these days. And with the holidays on the way, a whole new layer of stress can be added, with family gatherings, travel, increased alcohol & sugar consumption, and extra to-dos like shopping added to your plate.
I recently came across this video from a talk I gave 7 years ago, which is all about stress, so I decided it was the perfect time to share it with you!
I’ve had times in my own life when I was under an incredible amount of stress. At one point, I had SO many stress-induced symptoms that the only thing that got me out of bed was my patients…and I was sicker than most of them!
This is why I feel so strongly that we need to understand how stress actually affects our bodies, and what we can do about it.
